The skeleton holograms are coming to the basement

Hi guys. You know you're the best? You really are. I've been feeling like a 'hologram' lately. Just being there. The title is no song lyric my friends, it's my interpretation of this outfit and what I've been feeling like. Anyways, on to the outfit, green army jacket is vintage (similar ones coming to Miracle Eye soon!), and the black velvet top was thrifted. Chiffon fishtail skirt is from Miracle Eye, but this one is a particularly new design. It's more flowy and meets at the front (on the side since I've styled it assymetrical here). I like it a lot! The skeleton socks and creepers were purchased online, and glasses are from eBay. I've had them for over a year when I was obsessed with the look they'd give off. Not hipster, but kinda geeky-ish, ha. If you trace way back in my Dailybooth, I wear them in almost most of the old photos. Belt is a hand-me-down and all jewelry is vintage except for the skull necklace (purchased that baby on Etsy).

PS I will be changing my hair soon. Very very soon. I'm sick of red and being compared to others. It's annoying as hell that people think because of my hair, I am trying to be someone else. I am not trying to be someone else, never will try, it may come off that way to some brainless turds, but no. God, that would be annoying. My style is my style, okay? If you don't like it, go away! I have been lucky enough to not receive any negative comments on any looks or posts here (trolls are comin' their way now since I pointed this out..), but my twin sister/stylish guru/beauty/fellow blogger Isabel, received some dumb comment on Lookbook.nu about her hair. It is very bright and short, really really amazing right? Lookbook.nu is a site where people are used to seeing the same thing all the time so if they see something different, they feel the need to troll. Bullying on the internet or in real life is a really touchy subject for me as I myself have been a victim of it multiple times during my middle school years, so I will not get too into it. But I feel very strongly about any kind of bullying. So if you have absolutely ANYTHING but nice things to say, don't say anything. Simple as that! We have freedom of speech, DUH, this is the 21st century, but it just makes these people look so dumb. Why would you waste your time telling someone they suck? Don't get me wrong, I'm all for constructive criticism (unless it's out of context), but when you're just there to be a plain vibe-killer it's just so dumb! Go away! Do something, draw, film, sew, design, read, clean, BE GHETTO, anything.

On that note, I hope you all sincerely have a wonderful day tomorrow or tonight or whatever, but you're all the best and rock my skeletor socks off :)

Purification

Hello! Most of stuff I am wearing here came from the sample sale I think I talked about in the last post (I hope I did, too lazy to write it all again..) The crazy beautiful and ridiculously soft sweater is by Obey, part of their sample sale. Got it for a bitchin' $20, but I can totally see this in a retail store for over $100, so.. It's alright. I know I will be putting tons of use into it this winter so whatevz. Top is by this company called Dimepiece, real cool stuff. Got it for $15. The thing that makes this shirt really unique is not it's rad photo on the front that says "Fun With Plastic" in this real gory looking font, but the zipper arm sleeves! So freakin' cool.

The belt was my mom's, who's passed it onto me, and most of my jewelry is vintage. Velvet pentagram choker and silver cross ear cuff is from Etsy, of course. The orange-blue silver necklace was purchased while I was fabric shopping! I saw it next to a roll and asked how much it was, lucky me, the guy said 50 cents! I didn't believe him at first, but I wasn't going to complain, ha. I really like it. The colors go really well with this outfit! The lace maxi skirt is from Miracle Eye. Is it weird that I almost always wear something from my store everyday? Or every other day? I don't think so, I mean they are my designs, haha. So that pretty much means I'm the biggest fan of all my products, cause I made them, so I hold eternal love for each single piece. The green bag was purchased Downtown LAST Christmas, creepers were purchased online. PS if you're wondering where I purchased them, just check my Formspring, as I've already answered a question regarding the exact site.

On my way home from thrifting two days ago, there was a beautiful rainbow lookin' like a beaut as always. Just how I remember her when I was a wee child. Doesn't look a day over 25. I've included a short video at the end of the rainbow. I couldn't let something like this go un-published ya know!!!!!!!

Have a wonderful day beautiful gals and fine young men!

PS Are these the most out-grown roots you've ever seen or are these the most out-grown roots you've ever seen. Someone come over and dye my hair, please?

All of these concrete walls oozing with insomnia

Half of the weekend is over!!! What is this! Where am I!? Who are you!??? I wish the weekend was as long as the week. 5 week days, and 5 week-ends(?), but then they wouldn't be called weekends. Their name would probably be something like week-continuation or preferably week-bestdaysoftheweekeverythingelsesux. Good stuff. Today I went to this really cool event here Downtown only a few blocks from me where there were a bunch of booths holding sample sales and just selling their stuff! I've finally made my first purchase from Unif. Got this crazy cool blouse that is yet to be released (I think). I purchased a few other things, but I'll show you those in the next few posts ;) Keep tuned.

Alright. This floral print denim blouse is actually really, like really old. As a matter of fact, I wore it  here, pretty terribly if I say so myself. God, I don't even know why I do this to myself. But, I will never delete that post or any other terrible ones because it serves as a reminder to always keep improving and um well, never forget how much of a lil faggot you were ~and always will be~ with luv.

The khaki Mustang jacket was purchased at the Melrose trading Post about a month ago for $10 from this crazy cool guy! Seriously. And he has a blog tooo, but he doesn't post much. Go take a look here. There's also a photo of me in one of his posts when I bought the jacket! He's got his own shop on Etsy too (if y'all don't live in the LA area and don't go to the Melrose Trading Post), you can check that out here. Shorts are DIY, creepers were purchased online, socks are from eBay, tights are from Macys, leather backpack was thrifted, all jewelry is vintage except for this beauty of a necklace. This baby was purchased on Etsy (duh!!!), only the best online platform for all talented jewelry makers. I really love the white skulls and how there are a bunch of small crosses attached to them! Plus, there are about three small crosses on each side after the skulls end. Does that make sense? You can't really see them in the photos, but they're perfect. I would link you to the designer's store, but this necklace was apparently one a kind. And I'm not really one to spend on jewelry, or anything really (except for food), so I can tell you that I got this necklace for like a ridiculously affordable price. I remember seeing one similar to this one with less skulls and crosses for like $70 which translates to like $250 in a 16 year-old girl's budget. And of course my cockroach clip! I've been wearing it literally everyday since I first made them for the shop. Ha.

Have a great day y'all and thanks to the few of you who e-mailed me or formspring'd me or tweeted me or communicated to me in some sort of foreign alien language that requires cheese and Vitamin Water to get a fraction of the message across, that I reached 200 followers yesterday.

Tie Dye Dream ☯

The title practically says it all.. Say hello to a new dress design and velvet color/pattern that has joined Miracle Eye! I seriously cannot get enough of this dress. I love getting stopped and asked where I purchased it.. Ha. There aren't sufficient words in the English dictionary to effectively describe to you these people's faces and reactions once I tell them about my business quite perfectly. Sometimes, it can get overwhelming and just make me feel like the entire world is slowly closing in on me, but it is times like these when it just pays off. The disbelief they portrayed on their faces and through their tone during the rest of the conversation is just priceless. I'm trying to give you as much information to let you visualize it, but I honestly cannot even gather all the words myself. It's just one of those 'you have to be there' moments.

The beanie was purchased Downtown a while back when I was going through a *r3belli0us* stage in my life. Pretttttty much defines me at 13 years of age.  The grey blazer was thrifted, I was indecisive at the cashier whether to go through with purchasing it because it was $6 and not like $2 or something and I'm not really that much of a 'blazer' type of gal, but I will definitely put it to use once in a while. This outfit was pretty much all experimentation. I would have never paired a tie dye velvet skater dress with a grey blazer, beanie, and creepers two months ago. Just shows you what the blogging world really has to offer. Although for this specific ensemble, I did not garner any inspiration from any blog or from the internet really. It was just me staring at my closet and holding the tie dye dress over my shoulder for about three minutes. The velvet pentagram choker is from Etsy, sunnies are from the Melrose trading Post, skeleton earrings are from eBay, creepers were purchased online, backpack is thrifted, and the rest of my jewelry is vintage. Oh and the leather fringe cuff is from Miracle Eye :)

Alright, so I think that's it? Yep. Have a wonderful day kids and or adults and or old creepy seniors who bookmark my blog under their page to get a view through their screen at some 'young flesh' as Google Analytics has pointed out to me as one of the search key terms people apparently type in to get to my blog. Great. Can life get any better? No, not with this dress, as it is ALREADY purrrrrfect! DuUuHhHhHh!!

PS do you like how I am slowly undressing myself for you photo after photo? *slowly dims lights and promptly plays Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice on 90s jukebox*

PPS I am so close to 200 followers! Yay! Ya'll are da bomb.

Usually when I go take photos for the blog or Miracle Eye I play music on my iPhone on blast and my friend Byron who shot these photos for me thought it was hilarious and ghetto. I don't understand how it is ghetto. Do you? I mean, Apple sure wouldn't have built speakers on the iPhone that go as high as they do if they didn't intend them to be used, haha. He insisted to take a 'sample' video of me to show my readers how 'dumb' I am. So, ta da! I will forever continue to play my "Photoshoot Songs That Are Good And Stuff" playlist until the end of time. No matter how ghetto anyone may think it is. Including Byron. SUCK IT YOU MOTHERTRUCKER. PS watch it in 720p if you would like to view my wonderful flaws in ~high definition~ ;)
